Directory Listings
To be considered for a listing in SDProfessionals.com, the preferred referral guide to San Diego professionals, just send an email to with "Listing Submission" as the subject line. Here are a few notes on directory listing submissions. Your business must be headquartered in San Diego, and provide professional services to San Diego residents and businesses. Your website, if you have one, must be fully functional, and contain original, relevant content for our users. Not all listings submitted will be listed. Be sure to mention in the body of your email your service category, and include your URL if you have a website. Also, fair warning: we do check phone numbers and websites.

To modify or delete your directory listing in SDProfessionals.com, just send an email to with your updated information or deletion request in the message body.

The story behind SDProfessionals.com
SDProfessionals.com as a functioning directory went live in January 2003, and had its soft launch in February 2003. But that's just the obvious, visible part of the story.

See, SDProfessionals.com was developed by John Kuraoka, a San Diego creative professional, as a live test bed for his theories about how website structure and copywriting affect online functionality, including the end user experience and the roles search engines and directories play in online marketing. He still uses the site as an experimental resource.
